Rebecca is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a Family Nurse Practitioner with experience working primarily with adults. She also has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master of Social Work degree. Rebecca is licensed to work with all ages but has particular interest in working with adults and older teens. Rebecca focuses on solution-based approaches with an emphasis on forming a comfortable client-provider relationship which will provide the basis for joint decision making regarding the use of medications as part of the therapeutic healing process. While she believes strongly that medications are an important part of helping many people to feel and function better and is particularly interested in helping to identify the right medications for them, she also believes strongly in the importance of lifestyle in achieving and maintaining mental health, including through nutrition, exercise, stress reduction and therapeutic support.
Rebecca has experience working with depression, anxiety, life-transitions, health-related anxiety, and self-esteem issues. She believes that her strongest skill is her ability to provide a comfortable and supportive environment for clients to share their experiences and concerns and to work collaboratively to identify ways to move forward. She also has strong skills in identifying the appropriate medications for management of psychiatric conditions, and believes strongly in their ability to improve, abate, and stabilize distressing symptoms in many circumstances.
Rebecca is licensed as both a PMHNP and an FNP in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
